Wave 5 in the planning stages

After some pause, Group 101 Copenhagen is now undergoing the planning stages for the 5th wave.

If you are interested in joining in for 6 months of intense film making starting mid-Febuary and are living in or near Copenhagen, Denmark. Please send an email to contact@group101.dk.

Now for wave 4...

The fourth wave is the biggest wave to have hit 101 Copenhagen. So big we had to divide us into two groups. In a rush of untamed creativity, we've named them "GroupX" and "GroupY"...

The first screening is tonight. Tonight's theme for both groups is "freedom" and everybody is looking forward to see the results of one month of hard work, hard play and too much Christmas partying.

3/3/3 Half way there...

Tuesday February 3rd 2004, the members of the 3rd wave of Group 101 Copenhagen met to screen their 3rd movie.

To celebrate this half-way point, we've uploaded some more films to the Films pages. Enjoy.

Group 101 Copenhagen Starts the Third Wave

The registration period for the third wave of Group 101 Copenhagen has ended, and it's starting with the first deadline on december 2nd 2003.

Group 101 wants to welcome the 6 new members Nicolas Russell Bennetzen, Martin Boserup, Rolf Trap, Christina Mai Nielsen, Morten Ranmar and Rix Untidt. The four members continuing from last wave are: Lykke Strunk, Jesper Siberg, Erik Larsen and Keli Hlodversson.

We are all looking forward to yet another period of sleepless nights, dangerously close deadlines, desperate hunting for actors, locations and props and other fun stuff.

Another low budget feature film hits the screens

The emergence of digital video means that independent filmmakers can remain just that - independent. A crop of low-budget feature films is surfacing right now and one recent example is 'Losers Lounge,' the latest achievement by Indianapolis low-budget Avant-garde filmmaker Don Boner, whose prior works include the short films 'Ripple,' 'The Bumbling Detective,' and 'Welcome to Kentuckiana'.
